There's a Dinosaur in our School!- Reception

This week in Reception we have been trying to solve who left an egg in each classroom. We predicted lots of different animals that lay eggs including snake, ladybird, duck, chicken, turtle and caterpillar.

Later in the week we found some large footprints which made us start to think, maybe it was a dinosaur!

Today we have a visit from a Mummy T-Rex who was very happy to be reunited with her eggs. As a thank you she gave each class a copy of the book 'Mad about Dinosaurs!'. She kindly answered some of the questions we had created in our classes.

These included:

Why do some dinosaurs fly?

What was the longest dinosaur that ever lived?

Do dinosaurs teeth fall out?

We can wait to learn more about dinosaurs this term.
