October is Black History Month and, so far this month, Year 5 have learnt about Black British history, the incredible life of Mary Seacole and have developed their skills in drawing afro hair.
Today, Aspen Tree spent some time learning how to select suitable skin tone pencils and practised their skills in drawing a variety of hair types. They then went on to draw self-portraits. The children showed a huge amount of perseverance - well done Aspen!
