On Thursday 24th March the Year 3 & Year 4 Girls Football Team were invited to represent the Royal Borough of Greenwich at the London Youth Games Football Competition.
The London Youth Games is an annual multi-sport event held in London. This year it was held in Ilford, which is located in the London Borough of Redbridge.
Each of the London Boroughs were represented. The girls played six football matches against, Bexley, Bromley, Richmond upon Thames, Lambeth, Kingston upon Thames and Haringey.
The girls tried their very best and really enjoyed the experience of playing lots of football matches against other schools.
