Today we looked at the explorer, Preet Chandi. We discussed why she is significant and how we can find out about significant explorers from our lifetime using materials such as pictures, videos, news reports, news articles and websites. We then experienced Preet’s journey by making our own skis and imagining we were skiing to the South Pole.
