In this week's Personal Development (PD) lesson, Year 3 discussed 'stereotypes' related to men and women. We sorted various activities (such as washing up and mowing the lawn) into jobs that men, women or both normally do. After discussing this as a class, we came to the conclusion that even though stereotypes exist about expectations for different genders - both men and women can do any job! We then drew our own families and thought about the roles each member plays at home.
