In Year 6, for International Maths Day, we have been creating posters and a representation of different areas of Maths. We, as a year group, decided to create different problems related to ratio, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and BODMAS - Brackets Order Division Multiplication Addition Subtraction. In addition to this, we created some posters with the slogan 'Maths Is For Everyone'. My poster was the Earth; however, the continents were coloured as different skin colours to show that everybody can do maths no matter their skin colour.
Before all of this, we completed some fun math sheets out of a math scribble book - some of the questions had us all stumped. Luckily, as we are all so smart, we completed them. I hope one day you can figure it out too (if you cant already).
