Wiggly Wild Show in Year 2!

Today in Science, we learnt about which animals and insects live in the forest habitat. We explored our own forest to see which insects we could find, we found insects such as; snails, ants, woodlouse and spiders. We then watched the ‘Wriggly Wild Show’ where we got to see and sometimes, touch, different rainforest insects. This included; a snake, millipede, centipede, frog, tarantula skin, leech, giant snail, hissing cockroaches and a scorpion. We spoke about the similarities and differences between insects found in our forest and the ones from less familiar habitats, like the Amazon rainforest.
