Two Bannockburn Pupil Leadership Groups, Eco Squad & Community Champions, have been working together to organise second-hand item sales at both High Street and Manor Way sites after school this month; all the funds raised from the sales go to the Turkey & Syria Earthquake appeals organised by the DEC.
For our 1st sale, the children unpacked and organised the books, toys and clothes donated for sales at both sites and the sales raised over £50! The children were excited to help members of our global community and to encourage people to buy and so recycle and reuse items to help our planet.
The next sale (further details TBC) will be a What You Can Spare sale, so you can buy any items you wish ,for whatever price you spare - bring a bag next time and get some bargains!
