Year 4 trip to the Greenwich Islamic Centre

As part of our learning in RE, Year 4 visited the Greenwich Islamic Centre to explore a mosque, thinking about the role and value of religious leaders.

We were able to explore the mosque and explore what differences there were to other religious buildings.

Luckily, we were able to meet Imam Swaleh, who was able to answer any questions we had, thinking about the mosque's role in the Greenwich community.

It was a great experience! Especially when we got to see some children in Year 4 demonstrating how Muslims pray in the mosque with the Imam.
