In Year 4 Poplar for our Arts Weeks our theme has been swimming! Luckily, we got to go for some swimming lessons together last term too so we were even more excited to get started!
We have been studying the artist, David Hockney, and his paintings of swimming pools. We have explored colouring pencils to create waves of different shades of blue, painted our own canvases and explored with watercolours too!
We have even choreographed our own dance routine inspired by synchronised swimmers! Keep your eye on the blog for our video soon!
