Year 4: Science

This term in year 4, we have been learning about the digestive system and how our bodies digest food and use the nutrients. To highlight how our stomach works, we mixed crackers and orange juice in a plastic bag. We then waited and looked at the mixture. We discovered that the acid in the orange juice began to breakdown the crackers and turned it into a paste. This reflects how our stomach works.
