Year 4: Geography

As part of our 'Natural Disasters' topic, we have been learning about the link between tectonic plates, earthquakes and volcanoes. We identified the tectonic plates around the world and then looked at a map of where volcanoes and earthquakes happen most frequently. We were able to deduce that they happen along the tectonic plates more often because of the movement of the plates.
