The Debating Team met recently and had a brilliant time playing debating games to practise their skills. They took a list of the games home to play with their friends and family, and they are listed below if you would also like to try some. After the games, they voted democratically on what their 'Big Debate' should focus on, and who they would like to attend.
They chose the topic 'Should children at Bannockburn go on more school trips' and chose to invite some of the teachers to join them.
As always, the older children supported the younger children in feeling confident enough to join in. We are always so proud of how the PLG groups, which include children from Years 2-6, who collaborate together.
