The Eco squad met today and collected data to find out whether the recycling bins in classrooms and communal spaces were being used effectively.
They found that some bins contained the following items, which should not have been in there:
- Tissues
- Old glue sticks
- Tea bags
- Old pens
- Non recyclable plastic
Their actions are now to check that all classrooms and communal spaces have two bins - one for recyclable materials and one for non recyclable materials.
