In Maths this week, Year 3 worked in groups to add two 3 digit numbers using the partitioning method. We use colours to show our understanding of place value headers (Hundreds, Tens and Ones) and worked with our partner to add together two and three digit numbers. Finally, we were challenged to show each representation by using physical objects such as dienes and place value counters.     |
