Woodlands Farm - Nursery Acorn Class

Acorn Class visited Woodlands Farm on Shooter's Hill. We met Hannah who looked after us for the day.We went for a walk into the woods, looking for particular items including a feather and three different types of leaves.

Hannah told us about the different birds that live in the woods. He listened to the different sounds they make.

We went on a mini beast hunt. Hannah showed us how to gently use a paintbrush to put the mini beasts into our magnifying pot.

We moved like the different mini beasts we found.

After lunch, we all had a turn on the tractor.

We had a tour of the farm and met lots of friendly animals.

Bob the pony

Cows

We gave the sheep a gentle stroke.

Pigs who like to play football.

The chickens like to eat cauliflower.

We pretended to milk a cow.

We held and stroked a guinea pig.
