Year 4 go to the Museum of London
In Year 4 we have been investigating about the Victorians, exploring how they lived, their working conditions and the fascinating revolutionary inventions that they created.
This week we went on a trip to the Museum of London and took part in a hands-on Victorian workshop.
Year 4 were given the opportunity to examine some amazing Victorian artefacts that were 150 years old! We looked at objects that workers would have used, such as a chimney sweep brush and a shoe polisher's box.
We also studied and played with Victorian toys made from wood and metal. At the end of our innovative workshop we were able to try on Victorian costumes and act out the characters whose costumes we wore. Here are some pictures from our day out.
