Children were told that a very special visitor was coming to visit (Syd the snail!) so beforehand, we wanted to find out some information about the Giant African Land Snail.

We learnt that African land snails can live up to 25 years old and that they enjoy a diet of leaves and cucumber! The children even had a go at sketching their very own snail!
