DID YOU KNOW..?
According to a new report, roughly 41% of pupils
are overweight or obese by the time they start secondary school in Greenwich –
compared to the country’s 34% average.
The Rights and Responsibilities
Community Partnership Group met last week. They discussed an article which
was published in the NEWS SHOPPER paper about children’s obesity. We know how all children
have the right to be healthy, and therefore, both children and adults need to
take responsibility for their health. We plan on starting a campaign to ensure
the current – and future – children of Bannockburn do not form part of the
obesity statistic for Greenwich. What can we do? Share your ideas with the
Rights and Responsibilities Community Partnership group in the following weeks.
