Year 5 Science in action

Over the last couple of weeks, we have been investigating how power could be generated on Mars. Our focus at the moment is wind turbines, as Mars is a very windy planet. 

Whilst learning how wind turbines work, a member of the class alerted us to the fact that there is a wind turbine visible from the window. Once we started to look, we spotted many switchboards, pylons and power cables. Can you see a wind turbine from where you live?
