Why not combine some DT and French learning this week?!

Bonjour à tous!

Last weekend I spent some time tidying up things in my maison and my chambre and reorganising some pieces of meuble. It gave me an idea for a great task you could all do this week that combines le français et la technologie.

Step 1
Use the games on Linguascope to learn 10 furniture items you commonly find in a bedroom, in the section Ma Chambre.

If you cannot access Linguasope (the login details can be found in your first home-learning packs) here are the words. You could even create your own Memory/Pairs card game to help you learn them.

Step 2:
Use an old box (e.g shoe box, cereal box, delivery box) to create a 3D model of your room like the one in the photo below.

Step 3
Label the furniture and any other objects in your model using the new French words you have learnt.

You could also use this French Dictionary website to help you with vocabulary not on Linguascope.

Why not send a photo of your model to me via the Home Learning email address? I would love to see your creativity and French skills being combined!
