Year 4 had a fab fun fiery (and icy!) Friday today!
We had our Fire and Ice topic day where we learnt Robert Frost’s famous ‘Fire and Ice’ poem, erupted volcanoes, investigated ice, designed and made ice slushie drinks and used pastels to create artwork representing fire and ice! We even had time to dance to a classic hip hop song - Ice Ice Baby!
The costumes were also fantastic. It was lovely to see children wearing red and blue as well as having a group of super scientists enter our school for the day!
