Tracing skills in Year 5

In Year 5, we have been continuing our learning into the famous artist Keith Haring.

Eevn though Keith Haring’s cartoons are faceless, they still depict emotions - usually of happiness, love and merriment. With this in mind, we tried to create different emotions using our bodies rather than our faces.

After this, we used tracing paper to trace around our favourite Haring cartoon character. We filled our tracing paper and then printed the trace into our sketch books.

Next lesson, we are learning how to create our own cartoons in the style of Keith Haring.
