Arts Award for Individuals and Youth Groups
Greenwich Dance has created two Arts Awards activity packs to help develop creativity in children. Offered FREE to Greenwich residents, these distance learning activities encourage children to go at their own pace to learn about the arts and spark curiosity.
Discover Award (Ages 7+)
Discover Award is one way in which we are responding to the Black Lives Matter human rights movement. Using Black and British artists as the research focus, Discover Award celebrates current artists who are sharing their talent and heritage with the world. Use this award to get out and discover the arts in your area (in a safe way) whilst learning about artists who are shaping the world we live in. Those who complete this award will receive a certificate celebrating their achievement.
Bronze Award (Ages 11+)
For those looking for a bit more or a challenge we present our Bronze Award. This Level 1 qualification has been created in partnership with ZoieLogic Dance Theatre and gives a fascinating look into how a professional dance company operates. With the opportunity to learn rep and share it with others, your child will develop communication, leadership and research skills.
Participants will receive support from Greenwich Dance and weekly Arts Award Q&A’s 'Keeing in Touch' sessions will be set up so you can have all your questions answered. To find out more email our Arts Award Advisor Daniel at daniel@greenwichdance.org.uk
