To celebrate 'Road Safety Week' 2020 the children from Pear Class created banners for our Year 2 Community Champions to hold.
Group 1 Community Champions from Beech, Cedar and Sycamore Classes all put on their high visibility jackets and took to the gates on Bannockburn road to promote the importance of Road Safety. They used a Road safety checklist looking for the traffic lights, school crossing sign, 20 mph sign and school zig zag lines.
They also chanted 'Stop, Look Listen, Road Safety Week', to let the Year 2 children and Pear class know why they were standing there.
