Yoga with Maple!
As part of our indoor PE this term, Year 5 will be learning all about yoga.
We have discussed how yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost both physical and mental well-being.
So far, we have studied a variety of poses and discussed (at length) what muscles are used whilst performing them. We have also begun to group our poses by their similarities in order to eventually create a sequence that flows.
