And action! Bringing a warning story to life - Year 4

Today in English we explored our watery warning story – The Canal – for the very first time. We immersed ourselves in the story by reading it together, then we threw ourselves in the deep end by adding actions to a segment of the story that had lots of drama. We used simple, yet impactful actions to bring the story alive and also to help us remember each part of the text. To wrap our English lesson today, we took it in turns to perform in our groups. We watched and listened respectfully to others and gave constructive feedback so we could all improve.
