Following on from our 'Superhero' day on Monday we have been reading and creating our own superhero stories. We have discussed the different superhero characters we know and the problems they have to resolve.
We explored the inquiry, 'What makes the perfect superhero?'. In pairs, the children created what they considered the perfect superhero using playdough. They justified why they had given their superhero specific features to make them 'perfect'.
Here are some of their comments:
"Be strong." Ethan
"Stretchy arms to save people." Jessica
"Run fast." Isa
"Captain America is perfect because he fights crime and catches badies." Bernard
"He needs a cape to fly." David
"Can create lightening and thunder." Aayden
"Supergirl because she rescues people." Maya
