Year 6 - History - Crime and Punishment Day

Year 6 enjoyed an amazing immersion day based around their current topic - crime and punishment. They recreated the trial of a Roman soldier and explored the punishments which the Anglo-Saxons gave to criminals through a role-play activity. Later, they were able to put their code-breaking skills to the test while learning about Victorian prisons. In the final activity, the teachers staged a pantomime to support the children's learning about crime and punishment under the Tudors. Oh yes they did!
