This week in History, we learnt about the importance of Neil Armstrong
and the impact he had on the world with his voyages. We took part in our own
rocket launch and explored how this felt and discussed why it was a global
event. We then pretended we were news reporters from all over the world and
presented our news reports to each other as if we were breaking the news of our
rocket launches.
Shoot for the stars but if you happen to miss shoot for the moon instead - Neil Armstrong
Once I got into space, I was feeling very comfortable in the universe. I felt like I had a right to be anywhere in this universe, that I belonged here as much as any speck of stardust, any comet, any planet - Mae Jemison
