Exploring Aboriginal Art inYear 3

To end our learning in Art this half term, we looked at how cave paintings and aboriginal art have many similarities such as the way in which they made colour and where they found their inspiration.

We studied artwork by Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, who is considered to be one of the most collected and renowned Australian Aboriginal artists.

To create the right effect, we used cottom wool buds to make small dots on our page which is called Pointillism.

Here is some of our artwork for you to enjoy.

Year 2 - Active Maths

This week in maths we have been taking part in a series of Active Maths lessons in order to practise what we have learnt throughout this term.

We took part in human number lines and addition and subtraction races. We also played an odd and even sorting activity which helped us identify odd and even numbers. Finally, we took part in a times table circle game.

See how it went below!
