Stone Age dancing in Year 3

In our PE lessons this half term, Year 3 have been creating dances based on the movements of prehistoric humans. They have incorporated gestures, such as shooting a bow and arrow, hunting with a spear, gathering berries, using an axe and lighting a fire into their dances.

As well as this, they included turns, jumps, a freeze frame and different methods of travelling.

This week, each group bravely performed their dance to the rest of the class and received positive feedback from their audience!
