Alizarin House enjoyed a brilliant Bubble Workshop today, to reward them for winning the House Cup last year. We saw huge bubbles, tiny bubbles, bubbles inside other bubbles, people putting their hands in bubbles, and bubbles that made a huge bang! We also learnt about how different gases can affect the height that the bubbles can travel to. Helium sends them up to the ceiling, Oxygen makes them float around the room at body height, and we watched some bubbles drop to the bottom of a tank filled with Carbon Dioxide. It all finished with a huge bang when a bubble with Oxygen and Propane popped!
