Year 4 Science Dances

Year 4 have been dancing for Science! In our Science lessons, we have learned about how the particles of solids, liquids and gases behave. Particles of solids are tightly fused together. Particles of liquids are bonded but are free to move around each other whereas particles of gas try to move away from each other and fill any available space. After learning about the behaviour of states of matter, we created a dance showing the bonds and how matter can change state. We also identified the processes involved when matter changes state – melting, evaporations and condensation.
