Year 3 have built on their year 2 music learning, by creating and notating their own body percussion patterns.
They spent this term learning patterns, and taking ideas, from 'Connect It' by Anna Meredith.
They decided on their own noises, and arranged them into patterns. They have also been creating patterns and rhythms in counts of 3. They used symbols and music notes to write their pattern down.
Once they had notated and practised their own patterns, they had a go at reading and performing their class mates patterns.
