During our Maths lessons this half term, Year 3 have been learning how to use the partitioned column method to add and subtract. We have used all our prior place value knowledge as well as our mental calculation skills to help us with this new strategy. There has been many opportunities to practise this new method and many discussions around possible misconceptions!
