Food technology in Year 5

Each week a group of Year 5 pupils have been doing some cooking in our Community Kitchen with Mrs Medlock and Mrs Peek.

This Tuesday the children were learning about how to create some tasty (but healthy) coverings for chicken. Before touching any of the food items the children washed their hands thoroughly and made sure they were all wearing hair nets. 

Using fresh chicken, breadcrumbs, corn flakes and other ingredients, the children created and cooked some healthy chicken nuggets.
