Ingredients 1 onion 1 stick of celery 1 carrot 1 clove of garlic 1 Tsp of tomato paste 1 tin of lentils (rinsed) 1/2 a stock cube seasoning tacos choice of toppings Method 1. Fry the diced onion and garlic in an oiled frying pan for 5 mins until soft. 2. Add carrot. celery, seasoning, stock cube and tomato paste. 3. Add water until ingredients are covered. Put the lid on and simmer for 15 minutes, until soft. 4. Add lentils and cook for a further 5 minutes. 5. When cooked, fill the heated taco with the mix and add you choice of topping. 6. Enjoy! |

Lemon tree mini chef
Following our busy day of sightseeing in our city, Lemon tree were tasked with coming up with a healthy snack that you can easily cook at home. So we busied ourselves preparing vegetarian lentil tacos and enjoyed selling them to parents after school. Luckily we had been learning about instructions and were able to follow them step by step.
