Year 4's trip to the Thames Barrier

The Year 4 children visited the Thames Barrier this week as part of this term's topic, Britain today and in the Future. During the visit, the children listened to a talk about how the Thames Barrier was constructed and how it operates. They were able to look at a simulation of the Thames Barrier as well as have an up close view of the Barriers.
