After school on Wednesday the Girls Football Team went to the Meridian Sports Centre to play football against some other local primary schools within the Greenwich Borough. The girls played three matches against Charlton Manor Primary School, James Wolfe Primary School and Invicta (Deptford) Primary School. The played played fantastically and won all three matches! The scores were Charlton Manor 2-0; James Wolfe 1-0 and Invicta 2-0.
On the side lines Mr Cartlidge (Y4 Oak Class Teacher) and Mr Cody (Sports Apprentice) were giving the girls lots of advice and support. It was also lovely to have one of our Parent Governors, Mrs Fosang, also joined us to cheer on the team.
