This half term, the spine book we are enjoying in Year 3 is The Iron Man by Ted Hughes. During our whole class Guided Reading lessons we have been reading through and discussing the story. In today's lesson, we picked out words and phrases from the text that describe The Iron Man, then used these to draw a picture of what we imagine he looks like. We made sure to include his stupendous height, his glowing headlamp eyes and his enormous metal feet!
