Year 4 - Humanities
This week, in Geography, Year 4 pupils have been learning more about volcanoes and earthquakes. We have been learning about how devastating these natural disasters can be and about how they are formed. Below are some pictures of pupils exploring different maps that show the locations of volcanoes and sites where earthquakes have occured over the last 100 years. We then used this information to map out the locations of tectonic plates, beneath the Earth's crust which are the main cause for these terrible disasters.
