Year 4 - Problem Solving in Maths
In Maths this week, our Year 4s looked at problem-based learning through trial by improvement. By working in groups, we worked through each clue, one at a time in
order to solve a particular puzzle.
We used cubes, sticky notes and sugar paper in order to record each trial. We experienced that by making mistakes, through trial and error - we improve and move closer to the correct answer.
We needed to use our knowledge of multiplication and division in order to solve each problem.
