Ash class visit the Earthquake and Volcano gallery - Natural History Museum

As part of our learning this term about natural disasters, Ash class visited the ‘Volcanoes and Earthquakes’ exhibition at the National History Museum.

We have been developing our geographical knowledge of how these natural disasters occur in Humanities and how we can use our learning to write a tale of fear in English.

It was exciting, if not a little bit scary, to experience the earthquake simulator!

Moreover, it was interesting to learn that in years gone by many people used to believe the cat fish was the cause of earthquakes!
