Free meals for kids during school holidays
The council is ensuring that regular meals are available for all children and young people within the borough during school holidays. Food is served at multiple locations across the borough, and there's no age limit for children, meaning that nutritious meals are readily available and families continue to receive support outside of school term time.
There are no forms, and no fuss - just turn up and tuck in!

Woolwich Library and Thamesmere Leisure Centre at 12noon:

For any other parents used to getting up at the crack of dawn, having a reason to get out can be a bonus.

Available from Monday to Friday during school holidays kids can eat free at Tesco cafes when an adult makes any purchase in the cafe. Worth noting that this excludes weekends. You will also need your Clubcard and to check your local store is running the offer.

Sainsbury’s also have a £1 meal offer for kids, with hot options including fish fingers, sausages, chicken nuggets, and cheese and tomato pizza.
