In our RE lesson this week, Year 3 have learnt about the festival of 'Purim'.
We named some Jewish festivals that we had learnt about previously before reading the story of 'Esther'.
The story of Purim is told in the book of Esther. Esther is a Jewish girl who becomes Queen to King Ahasuerus of Persia.
During the festival of Purim, Jewish people commemorate the event by wearing a mask. We spent some time in class making our very own Purim masks.
