Apple Class in Reception were super excited to visit Woolwich Market this week.
We went to the Market to buy a piece of fruit or a vegetable to become our new character in our adapted versions of 'The Papaya that Spoke'.
We travelled there by bus and were greeted by Derek the Market Man. We remembered to use please and thank you when buying our food.
Once back at school, we used lots of creative materials to create our new characters and gave them new imaginative names.
