This week in Science, we have been looking at the difference between an evergreen plant and a flowering plant. We discussed how evergreen plants keep their leaves all year around and continue to grow in all four seasons, whereas a flowering plant grows best in spring and summer because it need lots of water and sunlight. The children worked in pairs to identity the plants and sort them according to whether they are an evergreen plant or flowering plant.
