In Geography this term we have been learning about hills and mountains. We learnt about the Three Peak Challenge, which is where people of all ages climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours, 48 hours or 3 days. We discovered that people complete the Three Peak Challenge for various reasons such as, to improve physical and mental wellbeing, for charity and for adventure.
In order to further understand what this challenge must have felt like, we interviewed each other and put ourselves in the shoes of someone who had just completed this difficult challenge. We also got to use the VR goggles to help us imagine our experience on the mountains as well as swimming with sharks!
