This week, Year 3 went to explore Woolwich Arsenal Riverside. Our task was to explore the area and discuss how the land was used. We talked about how the land was used as an artillery barracks and that some of the building from this time are still standing today. In contrast, there are many new and modern flats and buildings that have been built, as well as shops and entertainment facilities. We enjoyed sketching the Thames, as well as points of interest around us, such as statues and cannons.
